Raziff is responsible for the finances of the IBS Group and sits on executive committees of the group’s investment companies. He has vast experience in corporate finance over his 20-year career with Hektar Asset Management Sdn Bhd and the UEM Group. Among other things, he was instrumental in the listing of one of the first Real Estate Investment Trusts on Bursa Malaysia (Hektar REIT, currently worth more than RM1 billion) as well as raising funds to acquire and refurbish assets via rights issue, private placements, bond issuance and bank borrowings. His other corporate exercise experience includes asset divestment programmes, reverse take-over exercises, the issuance of RM2.5 billion Sukuk Musyarakah Asset-Backed Securities Programme.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) degree from the University of Queensland, Australia. Raziff also holds a Certificate of Investor Relations from the IR Society (UK)
